Play day with the Miah's and Tatum.  The wall behind Tatum has all the kids art work on it.
Miles knows right where to go for junk food. Cheetos!
Bruce has done this with at least the youngest 4, they love it and as long as he stays close by I'm ok.

The lighthouse, so many ways to think of it.  It is the rescuer for the ships in the sea, but at the same time it is our rescuer from the things of the this world.   God is our lighthouse.  As we were standing on the shore we could hear the fog horns of the ships, as if to say "here I am, where are you land, where is my protection?"  I see that in our Lord.  We are out here calling for him, looking for him, and he is our lighthouse saying "here I am, you are safe with me"
A trip to Savannah GA with Bruce for his Shellers conference.

Yes, that is Paula Dean, She was there doing a book signing, but I happen to see her going out to her car.

This is our B&B at Tybee GA on the water.  Wow it was cold, windy and wet but we had to go out and see the water.
We walked up all 135 steps of the lighthouse.

This is my favorite picture of my dad. It was taken back in the time when you had to have your bikes brakes checked.  He was waiting and watching I think some dancers in the parking lot and a well known photographer in town took this picture without him knowing it.  It actually hung in the Roswell Museum for awhile.
This is a few days late, but it was 16 years ago on Feb 17 that my dad passed.  Oh how I miss that man.  Such a silent type, yet when he wanted to talk you couldn't get away from him.  He cared so deeply for his family, his daughters and my mom and his grandchildren.  He was the hardest worker I know and the most talented man there was.  If you wanted it done he could do it and even when I would ask him for something and expect it within days.
You just don't know what you have at times till it's gone.  I love you daddy and miss you more than words could ever say.
New frame work around my bathrooms mirrors.
I can't help it, but I find a cute dress and have to get it for both of them.
 Happy Valentines day at G-house!
